Provision of specialized technical support for a fleet of approximately 170 FANUC robots at GM Silao—the engine plant—ensuring the operational continuity of automated processes through rapid troubleshooting, optimization of robotic systems, and maintenance of production availability in automotive applications.

Objective:

Provide specialized technical support for FANUC robots installed on the production lines at the General Motors Silao engine plant, ensuring maximum equipment availability through timely troubleshooting, corrective adjustments, and process optimization, with the goal of minimizing downtime and ensuring that daily production targets are met.

Participation:

  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and programming faults in FANUC robots.
  • Technical support for various robotic applications, including material handling, screwdriving, inspection, torque control, component cleaning, and other automated operations.
  • Fault analysis and recovery to reduce production line downtime.
  • Adjustment and optimization of robotic programs to maintain process stability.
  • Coordination with the production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams
